Triad
Diamond Ski Club ( TDSC ) is a minority operated club
whose purpose is to promote snow skiing and other outdoor
activities all year long for its members and guest. TDSC was
chartered August 1988 and incorporated as a non-profit
organization by the North Carolina State Attorney Generals
office. TDSC is the first African-American operated ski club
in North Carolina.
T.D.S.C is a proud member of the National
Brotherhood of Skiers.The
NBS is a non-profit organization that unites predominately
African-American ski clubs under one national banner. Its
primary goal is to find, select and fund high potential youth
capable of winning a berth on a US
SKI TEAM.
One
of our most proud moments was when we developed our Little
Diamond Ski Club, youth program in 1997. Currently we have 30
members, an executive board and a coaching staff. The overall
mission of our youth program is to develop our youth into
outstanding scholars, athletes and citizens of tomorrow.
